Our approach to the Jackrabbit Compressor project included several unique and innovative elements that increased accuracy while reducing costs. Our proprietary engineering database application was used to develop and create work packages that included complete information on all equipment and instrumentation to support validation in the field. RCC developed cutting-edge tools and document transfer methods to enable efficient transmission of electronic files and other voice and data communication needs. By implementing a barcode scanner system, RCC was able to track the work packages and issue, complete, and document all work activities quickly and accurately. This approach provided our client with real-time updates to help manage all punch list items. RCC’s document control system was also used extensively to manage drawing revisions and track master drawing sets and redlines. By utilizing these innovative methods and others, Reliable Controls produced the client’s Turnover Package and other deliverables on-site as the work packages were completed and the project was ongoing. This allowed questions and issues to be immediately addressed, resolved and documented, and any necessary modifications to the Turnover Package were made immediately. Reliable Controls completed the Jackrabbit Compressor Station project on time, within budget and with enthusiastic praise from the client. Reliable Control’s unique database, procedures, workflow processes and tracking tools helped this project achieve notable success.
