Acadian-Haynesville Pipeline Extension Factory Acceptance Testing and Pre-commissioning

The Acadian Haynesville Pipeline Extension project is a 270-mile long natural gas pipeline extension in Louisiana, originating in Red River Parish and terminating near Donaldsonville. The project, comprised of 30” and 36” diameter pipe, included two compressor stations and 30 metering stations between the cities of Shreveport and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Reliable Controls provided Factory Acceptance Testing and on-site Pre-commissioning services.

  • Creation of FAT testing plan and procedures

  • Installation and inspection of all devices at the factory

  • Panel verification of panel power distribution and I/O installed at the factory

  • Functional checkout and validation of each Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

  • Functional checkout and validation of each Fisher ROC RTU flow computer

  • Verification of communication circuits, configurations, addressing, and protocols

  • Complete checkout of equipment before shipping to site

  • Completion of all documentation, including inspection forms, calibration forms and check sheets

  • Inspection and documentation of all equipment after construction completion

  • Functional checkout of all equipment installed on site

  • Testing and verifying communications between all devices upon completion of construction

  • Validation sheets for all devices verified during pre-commissioning were documented and provided to the client in the Reliable Control’s Turn Over Package
